Job summary

The Salvation Army of Dane County is seeking a Grants and Contracts Manager to research, write, and manage all grants and contracts – including public, private, corporate, and foundation funding sources - in conjunction with Social Services and the Development team.

Responsibilities include developing a grant management system, ensuring compliance with federal/state guidelines, and cultivating relationships with funding entities to support program revenue and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Three years of progressively responsible government funding experience or equivalent.
• Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with TSA insurance clearance.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, write, submit, and administer grants from public, private, corporate, and foundation sources.
• Maintain a grant management system to track opportunities, deadlines, awards, compliance, and outcomes.
• Ensure grant and contract compliance with local, state, federal, and internal guidelines.
• Cultivate relationships with government agencies, foundations, corporations, and donors.
• Coordinate grant and contract documentation and reporting, including HMIS tracking.
