Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory in Madison, WI seeks a Grants and Contracts Manager to research, write, and administer public, private, corporate, and foundation funding in collaboration with Social Services and Development.

You will manage grant opportunities, ensure compliance with regulations, track outcomes in HMIS, and coordinate with partners to align funding with program priorities and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
• Three years progressively responsible in government funding or equivalent.
• Valid Wisconsin Driver's License with clearance to drive.

Responsibilities

• Researches, writes, submits, and administers county, state, federal, private, corporate and foundation grants.
• Develops and maintains a grant management system to track deadlines, awards, compliance, and outcomes.
• Collaborates with Social Services and Development to align grants with program priorities.
• Ensures compliance with grant regulations, budgets, and reporting requirements.
• Cultivates relationships with government agencies, foundations, corporations, and donors.
• Manages grant proposals, contracts, and subaward agreements and ensures staff understanding of requirements.
• Coordinates with partners to prepare complex funding proposals, including non-grant sources when needed.
• Tracks program outcomes in HMIS and supports annual reporting and budget development.
