Job summary

Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) is seeking a senior Grants Accountant to manage financial analysis, reporting, and grant lifecycle tasks in a hybrid California role. You will set up grants in Workday, produce funder reports, and ensure GAAP compliance while coordinating with the Grants Management team.

Responsibilities include budgeting for grants, journal entries, and closeout activities, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and grantor expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required.
• 6+ years' work experience in Accounting or Finance with preparation of financial statements.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform variance analysis and financial forecasts; present findings to management.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual funder reports with supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and GAAP; maintain accurate records and reporting.
