Job summary

FoundationCCC is seeking a Staff Accountant, Data & Compliance to join our Finance team. This 100% remote role within California requires reside-in-CA status and supports government funding reporting and subrecipient audits.

You will work on GAAP-based accounting, data reconciliation, and federal grant compliance to ensure accurate financial statements and reports. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in finance/accounting, a BA/BS or equivalent, and strong analytical and communication skills to

Qualifications

• GAAP knowledge and strong accounting fundamentals.
• Minimum 2+ years of related finance/accounting experience.
• Experience with federal grants compliance (2 CFR 200) is a plus.
• Ability to interpret and apply accounting theory to transactions.
• Strong analytical and data reconciliation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for Foundation customers, partners, and management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of accounting duties for assigned portfolios in the Finance Department.
• Support preparation of financial statements and quarterly government reports (SF-425).
• Conduct fiscal desk reviews of subrecipients for compliance with federal guidance and controls.
• Gather data across systems to support accurate and timely reporting.
