Saint Francis House Inc in Boston, MA is seeking a Senior Grant Writer to research, develop, and write compelling grant proposals that fund Day Shelter, Workforce Development, Behavioral Health, Housing Search & Stabilization, and more. You will identify opportunities, prepare budgets, and coordinate with internal teams to reflect SFH impact.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, non-profit management, human services, or a related field.
• Three to five years’ related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with computers and donor management (CRM databases).
• Non-profit experience a plus.

Responsabilités

• Researches, develops, writes and submits proposals, program budgets, letters, reports and other materials for grant submissions.
• Develops and fosters relationships with private and corporate giving officers, program managers, and trustees.
• Assists with writing and submitting proposals for local, state, and federal contracts as assigned.
• Ensures grant submissions and reports are accurate and timely.
• Tracks deadlines and funder communications in donor database.
• Collaborates with Finance, Programs, Evaluation and HR teams to ensure deliverables.
