Job summary

Institute for Nonprofit Practice is seeking a Senior Grant Writer to translate mission into compelling proposals and secure resources for leadership development nationwide. Location is Dedham, MA with a base pay of $80,000–$90,000 per year and a full-time exempt status.

The role reports to the Director of Institutional Giving and involves coordinating with program, finance, and leadership teams. The Senior Grant Writer will manage end-to-end grant proposals, LOIs, donor reports, and prospect

Qualifications

• 7+ years of significant experience in development or advancement.
• Experience writing successful fundraising proposals.
• Knowledge of corporate and foundation fundraising; public funding a plus.
• Experience using Salesforce or a similar database.

Responsibilities

• Writes ~30 proposals/LOIs and ~30 reports per year.
• Leads end-to-end grant proposals from initiation to delivery.
• Sources data and narratives with program, finance, and leadership teams.
• Maintains INP's mission voice in proposals and donor reports.
• Tracks funder guidelines and submits timely materials.
• Collaborates across departments to strengthen donor communications.
• Manages calendars and deadlines for grants and reports.
