Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Senior to join our Compliance Advisory team to provide advisory services to governmental, tribal, private, and not-for-profit organizations, focusing on grant management, compliance, internal controls, and policy development.

You will collaborate with clients and team members to assess needs, identify improvement opportunities, and develop practical solutions that strengthen processes, controls, and overall effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, public administration, or related field required.
• Master’s in Accounting, MBA, or MPA preferred.
• CPA, CIA, CGMA, CFE, or other relevant designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support grant compliance monitoring activities and review subrecipient performance and reporting.
• Lead grant compliance reviews and develop findings and recommendations.
• Conduct internal control reviews, audits, and operational assessments.
• Develop and enhance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Prepare client deliverables including findings, reports, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with clients to improve accounting and business practices.
• Communicate project status to team members and clients.
• Provide guidance to junior team members to ensure timely delivery.
