Job summary

University System of New Hampshire seeks an advisor for PAUL graduate programs to guide academic planning and student success. The role develops programming focused on the student experience and coordinates with multiple offices including OISS, the Registrar, and PAUL faculty.

Responsibilities include organizing Admitted Student Day, orientations, cohort meetings, residencies, and networking events, while using data to inform outreach and identify at-risk students for timely intervention.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher preferred with experience advising graduate students in higher education.
  • Experience using student information systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong planning and event coordination capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Advise PAUL graduate students on academic planning and program policies.
  • Develop and coordinate student experience programming across the academic year.
  • Collaborate with Graduate School, OISS, Registrar, Financial Aid, UNH Online and other offices to support students.
  • Plan Admitted Student Day, orientations, cohort meetings, residencies, and networking events.
  • Monitor student progress and refer students to appropriate campus resources.
