Intel Corporation in Santa Clara, California, seeks a GPU Platform Hardware Design Engineer to lead the design, verification, and bring-up of GPU hardware platforms. You will drive from feasibility through tapeout, ensuring robust power, timing, and signal integrity across PCIe-based platforms.

The role requires deep EE principles, extensive PCB and GPU hardware experience, and collaboration with architecture, firmware, and mechanical teams.

Qualificações

• Deep understanding of electrical engineering principles including power integrity, signal integrity, and thermal design.
• Proficiency in EDA tools and board layout software for PCB design.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as PCIe and OAM; testing & validation methodologies for GPU platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and evaluate electronic components, PCBs, and ICs for GPU hardware platforms.
• Translate platform-level requirements into detailed specifications and ensure adherence.
• Define component placement and trace routing rules to optimize layouts for performance, power, and signal integrity.
• Conduct feasibility studies, board layout, tapeout, and platform power-on activities.
• Perform functionality tests and verify platform configurations and compatibility.
• Research, develop, and validate firmware, hardware, and circuitry processes to enhance GPU platform performance.
• Collaborate with architecture, power, thermal, mechanical, and firmware teams to address development challenges.
• Drive testing, manufacturing, and debugging processes for GPU systems, adhering to PCIe and OAM standards.
