Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to lead a core development project across architecture, development, and productization for GPU/ASIC efforts.

You will collaborate with Product Managers and Program Managers to align KPIs, schedules, and customer/competitive needs while guiding multi-disciplinary teams through design, verification, and product launch processes. The role requires deep hardware/software/system engineering experience, strong communication, and a track record

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer engineering, CS, or related field
• Master’s/PhD can reduce required experience
• Qualcomm work experience counts as 1.5x for HW/SW experience
• Strong communication across F2F, Teams, PowerPoint, emails
• Comfortable in discussions spanning software, hardware, system, and productization

Responsibilities

• Partner with all engineering teams on definition, execution and delivery of GPUs to products
• Act as technical liaison between GPU HW engineering and PdM; encourage communication and collaboration
• Participate in Product/Roadmap planning using cost/benefit analysis and trade-offs
• Contribute to strategic direction of GPU cores for long-term success
• Drive technical meetings for brainstorming, problem-solving and design reviews
• Represent GPU engineering in SOC forums and upper mgmt discussions
