Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Principal GPU Demand Planner to lead long-range demand modeling and capacity planning for AI/datacenter initiatives. You will partner with executives across engineering, product, finance, and supply chain to translate business strategy into actionable forecasts and resource plans.

Responsibilities include building and socializing demand plans, identifying risks, and driving process improvements while coordinating with BI to map system models to capacity needs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in large-scale AI/ML datacenter capacity planning and project management.
• Extensive experience in developing demand plans and forecasts for new and existing products.
• Understand impact of revenue goals, customer usage, overhead and buffer, data center space and power availability on capacity management.
• Experienced with forecasting and demand planning for server storage and networking.
• Advanced in Excel modeling and building complex forecasting models with multiple inputs to drive recommendations and decisions.
• Experienced with infrastructure hardware, memory, CPU, JBoDs, servers; ability to read BOM and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, iterate, and maintain end to end long-range demand planning models at the customer, initiative, SKU, and geo level.
• Build demand plans based on strategic goals, business trends, and inputs from stakeholders.
• Socialize demand plans with senior leaders in capacity planning and operations, supply chain, engineering, customer management, and finance.
• Identify demand forecast risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate balance between long range planning and short-term execution; understand end to end supply chain flow.
• Collaborate with product management to understand product lifecycle and forecasting impact.
• Provide inputs and analysis of demand data to management, finance, and operations for S&OP.
• Develop routine and ad-hoc demand analyses and reports for senior management.
• Maintain demand planning review processes to improve forecast accuracy.
• Lead strategic AI/ML datacenter capacity planning and large-scale infrastructure deals.
