Job summary

Oracle seeks an experienced Supply Chain Senior Director to lead strategic sourcing across CPU and GPU categories for infrastructure platforms. You will guide supplier selection, complex negotiations, and awards while aligning with technology roadmaps and business growth.

You will manage a team of Sourcing Managers and partner with Engineering, Finance, Planning, and Quality to optimize cost, capacity, and continuity of supply.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, global supply management, or similar in hardware/tech environments.
• Experience developing and executing category strategies for sourcing.
• Knowledge of CPUs, GPUs, semiconductors, or related technologies.
• Experience supporting hyperscale cloud, data center, AI infrastructure or similar.
• Proven track record in supplier assessment, negotiations, contracts, and performance management.
• Ability to translate tech/product roadmaps into sourcing strategies.
• Understanding of supplier capacity planning, risk mitigation, and scalable execution.
• Collaboration with Engineering and other teams to align sourcing with requirements.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead managers.
• Strong executive communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Comfort working with executive management and supplier leadership.
• Broad business knowledge suitable for a fast-changing environment.
• BS or MS degree or equivalent experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing and category strategies across CPU and GPU technologies.
• Lead supplier assessment, selection, negotiations, awards, development, and performance management.
• Build strong relationships with strategic suppliers, including executive engagement on complex issues.
• Lead complex negotiations involving cost, capacity, terms, and performance.
• Align supplier capabilities with technology roadmaps and business priorities.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Finance, Planning, Quality to align sourcing strategies with new platforms.
• Drive sourcing strategies and awards for new platforms while ensuring supplier readiness.
• Establish supplier performance mechanisms and continuous improvement processes.
• Identify and mitigate risks across CPU and GPU categories.
• Develop and implement scalable sourcing policies and operating mechanisms.
• Collaborate with Finance on cost, capacity and related considerations.
• Lead and develop Sourcing Managers for effective execution.
• Direct implementation of sourcing strategies through subordinate managers.
• Engage executives and supplier leadership to influence decisions and resolve issues.
