Job summary

AMD is seeking a senior technical leader to design large-scale AI GPU clusters, translating customer requirements into complete Basis of Design documents. The role spans compute, networking, storage, power, cooling, and floor layout, working with customers and OEMs to align technical decisions.

Ideal candidates will articulate complex constraints clearly, collaborate across cross-domain teams, and drive end-to-end data center architectures for AI workloads and HPC deployments.

  • Role requires systems-level thinking and ability to translate customer needs into complete data center designs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead customer engagements to define AI GPU cluster architecture and develop Basis of Design documents.
  • Architect end-to-end data center solutions including GPU platforms, networking, storage, power, cooling, and floor layout.
  • Translate AI workload requirements into scalable, reliable infrastructure designs.
  • Partner with customers, OEMs/ODMs, and internal teams to align on technical decisions and tradeoffs.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, gap analyses, and risk assessments to ensure deployable designs.
  • Provide guidance on power redundancy, cooling strategies, network topology, and cluster scalability.
  • Support pre-sales, solution reviews, and executive-level technical discussions as needed.
