Job summary

AMD is seeking a systems‑level architect to design AI GPU cluster architectures and complete BoD documents for data center deployments across compute, networking, storage, power, cooling, and layout. You will translate complex AI workloads into scalable infrastructure and collaborate with AMD teams and customers.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, cross‑domain fluency, and the ability to turn constraints into clear, defensible designs, with high ownership and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience designing large-scale GPU/HPC architectures for AI workloads.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into complete BoD documentation and architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead customer engagements to define AI GPU cluster architecture and BoD documents.
  • Architect end-to-end data center solutions including GPU platforms, networking, storage, power, and cooling.
  • Translate AI workload requirements into scalable, reliable infrastructure designs.
  • Collaborate with customers, OEMs/ODMs, and AMD teams to align on decisions and tradeoffs.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and ensure deployable designs.
  • Provide guidance on power redundancy, cooling, network topology, and scalability.
