Job summary

AMD is seeking an Enterprise AI/HPC GPU architect to join the Datacenter System Architecture and Engineering team to develop world-class products around Instinct GPUs. In this role you will engage with customers and internal teams to define end-to-end architecture spanning Si, HW/SW, and usages to deliver the best customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter and able to independently drive tasks to completion.
• Demonstrated Server and GPU productsexpertise by working on multiple projects across architecture, development, design including memory, I/O, power delivery, boot process, FW and hardware management through bring-up and production.
• Detailed understanding of server industry standards such as DDR, PCIe, SATA, and other high-speed IO protocol is required.
• Proven track record of Engineering problem solving and pushing boundaries to deliver innovative and differentiating products.
• Experience working seamlessly across engineering disciplines and geographies to deliver excellent results.

Responsibilities

• Server and Enterprise AI/HPC GPU Product and Systems Architecture definition.
• Architect solutions using AMD Processors, Instinct GPUs, accelerators, Network Components for HPC and data center applications.
• Define requirements for products, system and components for performance, power, cost.
• Work on R&D of next-gen datacenter compute designs to improve performance.
• Influence shaping of future products by contributing to architecture and execution.
