Job summary

Imperative Systems LLC is seeking experienced Security Systems Technicians to support installation and maintenance for domestic government and DoD facilities in the greater DC area. Travel up to 75% domestically is expected, with occasional local responsibilities.

The role requires 5+ years in technical security systems, valid US citizenship, and a SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one. Candidates should be proficient with CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems as part of a critical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technical security systems.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in technical security systems.
• Must be a US citizen with an active SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% domestically, with R&R or rotation as required.

Responsibilities

• Reading, interpreting, and drawing electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical schematics.
• Reading and interpreting building plans (blueprints).
• AC power distribution systems, motor-generators.
• Motors, motor controls, disconnects, relays.
• Low voltage DC electronic systems / electro-mechanical systems.
• Use, repair, and calibration of electronic test equipment - meters, oscilloscopes.
• Bench repair of electronic, electrical, and electro-mechanical equipment to the component level.
• Mechanical and electro-mechanical locking systems - electronic strikes, locks.
• Pedestrian and vehicular access control systems - door controls, vehicle barriers/arrest.
• Closed-circuit television systems (CCTV) equipment and components.
• Public Address Systems - emergency notification systems, intercoms.
• Position requires a minimum SECRET security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
