Geosyntec Consultants seeks a Sr. Government Project Accountant to support hybrid work arrangements in Lakewood, Greenwood Village, Colorado Springs, CO, Chicago, IL or Oak Brook, IL.

This role handles complex government project accounting, contract administration, and billing in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include managing invoicing packages, cost analysis, and adherence to FAR and government client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience.
• At least five years government accounting invoicing experience.
• Knowledge of job costing, contract file administration, revenue recognition.
• Familiarity with FAR and government programs.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license for business travel.

Responsabilités

• Administer government project contracts and invoicing processes.
• Provide cost analysis and budget tracking for projects.
• Prepare and review pre-bill and progress reports for invoicing.
• Coordinate with Project Managers on contract changes and revenue recognition.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies.
