Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Government Project Accountant in a hybrid role across CO and IL offices. You will oversee government project invoicing, contract administration, budget analysis, and compliance with FAR and DCAA standards.

The candidate will coordinate with Project Managers and Directors, prepare revenue recognition, and support financial reporting for complex projects. A bachelor’s in accounting/finance and 5+ years of government accounting are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Minimum five years of government accounting experience coordinating invoicing.
• Knowledge of job costing, contract file administration, and revenue recognition.
• Familiarity with FAR and government contracts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and BST accounting system.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract administration for government projects.
• Prepare invoices and revenue recognition packages.
• Analyze budgets and prepare change orders.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Directors on contracts.
• Ensure compliance with DCAA and federal/state laws.
