Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector seeks a Senior Program Manager (Government) to lead cross-functional teams across contracts, ensuring delivery excellence and alignment with customer missions. The role requires deep program and contract management expertise, including multi-vendor coordination and risk mitigation.

The position emphasizes policy familiarity (FAR/DFARS, DoD 5000) and earned value reporting, with high-level stakeholder communication and engineering oversight to drive service improvements.

Qualifications

• Fifteen (15) to twenty (20) years of experience as a program or project manager in managing programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Experience leading a multi-vendor environment.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS, DoD 5000 series, and ICD 801 policies.
• Must have demonstrated experience in requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting.
• Must have at least five (5) years of demonstrated experience in the management and control of funds using complex reporting mechanisms such as Earned Value Management.
• PMP, FAC-P/PM Senior Level, or DAWIA Level 3 certification in Program Management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Service Managers and client Service Owners to understand customer needs.
• Develop strategic technical roadmaps for program service areas with Technology Ops Manager, CTO, and Service Managers.
• Identify and implement ways to improve performance and reliability of existing services.
• Develop technical insertion proposals for the client highlighting new technologies.
• Coordinate with Service Managers to ensure security, reliability, and resilience of services.
• Develop relationships with AT&T product houses and relay information to leadership and project teams.
• Collaborate with internal and external vendors to gather relevant technology information for the client’s mission.
• Work with RIS I Continuous Service Improvement to gain insights from root-cause analyses.
• Ensure service solution documentation and training for operations and field teams.
