Job summary

Belcan is seeking a Program Finance Analyst to support a diverse government contract portfolio. You will partner with Program Managers to deliver timely, accurate financial insights and manage cost/schedule integration.

You will oversee baselines, forecasts, and operating plans, develop cost controls, monitor variances, and contribute to monthly financial rhythms including EAC development. Candidates should have 5+ years in program finance, experience with Unanet GovCon ERP, and strong Excel

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; 5+ years of relevant experience
In lieu of degree: 7+ years of directly related experience
Experience with government-contracting systems: ERP (Unanet, Deltek Costpoint); Reporting (PowerBI, COGNOS); Forecasting (TM1, Workday)
Strong background in program control and financial analysis including revenue recognition and cost/schedule performance

Responsibilities

Provide financial support across multiple government contracts, preparing, reviewing, and analyzing complex project data
Develop financial controls, procedures, and forecasting methods to evaluate contract/program status
Monitor cost performance and ensure contractual obligations are met
Support annual operating plans, monthly forecasts, and identify risks, opportunities
Participate in monthly business rhythms for program and finance
Create FAR-compliant cost estimates for pricing activities
Prepare financial and administrative reports for internal and external stakeholders
Act as liaison between program operations and administrative support functions
