Job summary

SES Space & Defense is seeking a Senior Specialist, Contracts to manage cradle-to-grave U.S. government contract requirements and financial deliverables.

You will ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, review proposals, and support vendor management across programs. In this role you will negotiate terms, administer government and commercial contracts, and interact with contract officers, providing guidance to program and operations teams in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a related discipline with 6+ years of contracts experience.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and Federal contracting processes.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating government contracts and modifications.

Responsibilities

• Administers and monitors contract performance on government contracts.
• Maintains relationships with US Government Contract Officers as primary contacts.
• Reviews solicitation terms and analyzes risks in contract terms.
• Prepares NDA, MSAs, service orders and other agreements.
• Supports negotiation and administration of complex contracts.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and government requirements.
