Job summary

FP&C is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Specialist to support a Department of Energy (DOE) program. You will manage the full contract lifecycle from planning through closeout, ensuring compliance with FAR and federal regulations while advising program leadership.

The role requires expert contracting knowledge, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, evolving environment with remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10 years of federal contracting experience.
• Experience across all phases of the federal acquisition lifecycle.
• FAR knowledge and contract administration expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support acquisition activities throughout the federal procurement lifecycle.
• Review, draft, negotiate, and administer contracts, subcontracts, task orders, and contract modifications.
• Prepare and maintain acquisition documentation and contract files.
• Ensure contract actions comply with FAR and other requirements.
• Provide expert contracting consultation and programmatic business analysis to leadership.
• Coordinate with program management, finance, legal, and executive leadership on contractual matters.
