Job summary

Scientific Applications & Research Associates, Inc. (SARA) seeks an experienced Contracts Manager in Colorado Springs to lead complex government contracts from pre-award through closeout. You will review solicitations, develop strategies, and negotiate terms to meet customer requirements while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Applicants should have 8–10 years in U.S. Government contracting, deep FAR/DFARS knowledge, and strong negotiation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business, contracts, law, finance, or related field.
• 8–10 years of progressively responsible experience in U.S. Government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Review complex solicitations/RFPs and prepare specialized proposals and contract modifications.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle from pre-award through closeout.
• Interpret FAR/DFARS and other regulatory requirements; ensure compliance and appropriate flow-downs.
• Lead negotiations on complex contractual issues and document settlements.
• Provide contractual guidance to internal teams on contract requirements and risks.
• Identify and coordinate subcontract flow-down requirements with Supply Chain.
