Scientific Applications & Research Associates, Inc. (SARA) in Colorado Springs is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee the administration and management of complex U.S. Government, prime, subcontract, and commercial contracts throughout the lifecycle.

The role collaborates with Program Management, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain to minimize risk and maximize value. You will review solicitations and proposals, negotiate terms, monitor funding, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and agency

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in business, contracts, law, finance, or related field.
8–10 years of progressive experience in U.S. Government contracting.
Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and contracting vehicles.
Experience negotiating with government customers and prime contractors.

Responsibilities

Review solicitations, prepare proposals and contract modifications for U.S. Government, prime contractor, and commercial contracts.
Lead pre-award strategy, negotiations, and contract administration through closeout.
Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and applicable agency supplements.
Provide guidance to internal teams on contract requirements and risk.
Manage contract changes, REAs, and dispute resolutions.
Monitor funding, ceilings, periods of performance, and contractual limitations.
