Job summary

V2X, Inc. is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee government contracts from RFP through execution. You will negotiate terms, manage modifications, and ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and related regulations while supervising a small team.

You will protect the company’s interests in customer discussions, coordinate with multiple departments, and travel as needed to project locations. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance or related field.
• 8+ years in U.S. Government contracts management, including cost/pricing and proposals.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DoD FAR Supplement, and Govt. acquisition/RFP processes.
• Excellent written and oral communication; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee execution, interpretation, and administration of contracts per terms and regulations.
• Manage contract modifications, proposals, and negotiations for assigned portfolio.
• Lead 1-2 direct reports and mentor team to ensure compliant, timely execution.
• Collaborate with PMs to assess innovative contracting methods and drive growth.
• Ensure proposal plans meet FAR/CAS requirements and are ready for submission.
• Coordinate cost formats and management review presentations with Capture Team/Director.
• Review terms for regulatory compliance and resolve disputes with customers.
