Cintas is seeking a Senior Counsel I – Government Contracts to join its Legal and Compliance Department. You will provide day-to-day legal support focused on government contract review, negotiation, and compliance, advising sales leadership and customer-facing teams on public sector opportunities while managing risks in federal, state, and local contracting.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate Degree required.
• Admitted to state bar.
• 4+ years of full-time, relevant legal experience.
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel extensively with short notice.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with government entities.
• Partner with sales teams on RFPs and public sector opportunities.
• Provide legal guidance on government contracting matters to leadership.
• Assist in training sales partners on gov contract terms.
• Advise on contract compliance and process improvements.
• Monitor developments affecting public sector contracting.
