Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking an Associate General Counsel – Government Contracts to provide strategic legal counsel across U.S. and international government contracts. You will advise on procurement regulations, contract structure, and compliance throughout the lifecycle of complex programs.

In this role, you will draft and negotiate government contracts and NDAs, manage disputes, and support regulatory, audits, and investigations. A DoD security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret clearance required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• JD from an accredited law school with active bar in good standing.
• Minimum 8 years advising U.S. government contractors on FAR/DFARS.
• Strong knowledge of ITAR/EAR and trade compliance.
• Experience negotiating complex government contracts and disputes.
• Proven ability to advise on compliance programs, audits, and investigations.
• Strong executive communication and cross-functional influence.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal counsel across lifecycle of government contracts (capture to closeout).
• Interpret FAR, DFARS, agency supplements; advise on risk and compliance.
• Draft and negotiate government contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, and related agreements.
• Support regulatory compliance programs and investigations.
• Advise on bid protests, GAO and COFC strategies; coordinate with outside counsel.
• Serve as primary contact for government agencies and executive leadership.
• Lead training and enablement on government contracting compliance.
