Job summary

BRG is seeking a Managing Consultant for its Government Contract practice to help clients navigate cost accounting, pricing challenges and compliance. You will model financial data, perform analyses, and develop client deliverables across a range of industries including aerospace, defense, manufacturing and health care.

The role emphasizes strong analytical abilities, high-quality work product, and collaboration in a fast-paced, client-facing environment with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting and finance.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CFE, or CGMA are valuable.
• 2–4 years prior work in professional or litigation services.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and familiarity with MS Access / MS SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Government contracts clients on cost and pricing challenges and compliance.
• Assist contractors with accounting, contract administration and strategic questions.
• Interact with clients across aerospace, defense, manufacturing, tech, cybersecurity and more.
• Conduct research and analysis and translate findings into actionable results.
• Develop and maintain electronic databases, spreadsheets and files for projects.
• Demonstrate and apply analytical methods and modeling tools to solutions.
• Audit own and team deliverables to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate in a team environment to meet client deadlines and expectations.
• Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with stakeholders.
