Job summary

BRG is seeking a Senior Associate in Government Contracts & Accounting in Washington, DC. The role centers on analyzing cost, pricing, and compliance issues for government contracts, with interaction across aerospace, manufacturing, and technology sectors.

You will support accounting, contract administration, and strategic questions while delivering high-quality client deliverables. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in professional or litigation services, with a bachelor’s in accounting/finance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounting and finance.
• 2–4 years of prior work experience in professional or litigation services.
• CPA, CFE, or CGMA certifications are valuable to this position.
• Proficient with MS Excel; familiarity with MS Access and MS SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Government contracts clients analyzing cost and pricing challenges and compliance issues.
• Assist contractors with accounting, contract administration, and strategic business questions.
• Interact with clients across aerospace, professional services, manufacturing, tech, cybersecurity, and health sectors.
• Perform research and analysis and translate results into actionable deliverables.
• Develop and maintain electronic databases, spreadsheets and files as needed.
• Apply software tools and models to develop solutions and improve client operations.
• Audit work products to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Contribute in a team environment to meet deadlines and expectations.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication and willingness to travel.
