Job summary

Jacobs in Huntsville, Alabama seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee design/build and large, complex government real property projects, including mobilization, site prep, fit-out and occupancy.

You will lead the Project Management Team, coordinate with the government agency, architects and contractors, ensure on-time delivery, quality, and safety, and maintain logs and reports throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or related field.
• 15 years of experience managing multi-faceted projects.
• Active TOP SECRET Clearance required.
• Certifications: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, RA or similar.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex government projects.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site construction management oversight during mobilization, site preparation, construction, fit-out, commissioning and occupancy.
• Leads the Project Management Team; coordinates with government agency, clients, architects and contractors.
• Ensures timeliness, quality of work, and effective change control across multiple projects.
• Develops charters, manages contingency planning, and enforces project management best practices.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, engineering, architecture or related field
