Jacobs in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead complex government facilities programs from mobilization through occupancy. You will provide on-site management and oversee design/build interfaces.

The role requires Top Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree in CM or related field, and PMI certifications (CCM, PMP, PE, AIA). You will manage multi‑faceted projects with cross‑functional teams, ensuring schedule, quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, engineering, architecture or related field.
• Professional certifications (CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, RA, etc.).
• Minimum 15 years of experience managing multi-faceted projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Experience managing people and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with PM software and industry tools listed above.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site construction management oversight during mobilization, site preparation, construction, fit-out, commissioning and occupancy.
• Leads the Project Management Team and coordinates with government agencies, clients, architects, and contractors.
• Interfaces with clients to define requirements.
• Oversees duties in construction and renovation of government real property.
• Able to manage a large multi-faceted project.
• Tracks metrics, leads meetings, and ensures schedules and user needs are met.
• Prepares scope of work, technical reviews, and reports.
• Develops charters and enforces change control with contingency planning.
