Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for our Federal group, serving as owner’s representative on critical facilities projects. The role requires active security clearances and a track record in design standards, quality control, and multi-discipline coordination.

Responsibilities include guiding construction standards, collaborating with architects and engineers, and delivering reports and presentations using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required; Top Secret preferred.
• US Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• Minimum ten (10) years of related experience; 20 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish design standards and criteria for construction projects.
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance during construction.
• Coordinate with client peers, Project Managers, customers and other personnel.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project software tools and AutoCAD.
• Prepare reports, studies and presentations.
