Job summary

MIRACORP is seeking a Project Manager IV to lead complex government construction projects from planning through occupancy. The role requires hands-on expertise in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC building systems, with strong knowledge of codes, life safety, and QA standards.

The incumbent serves as the on-site project manager, coordinating with internal teams, A/E firms, contractors, and customer agencies to ensure successful project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred), Architecture, or related field; and/or ten years of experience managing commercial design and construction projects.
• Master's degree in a related field preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects involving electrical, mechanical, and/or HVAC systems.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial building design, construction methods, and building systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing).
• Proficiency in project management principles, construction scheduling, cost estimating, and interpreting construction documents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with customers, acquisition staff, contractors, financial managers, and stakeholders.
• Preferred: Professional licensure or certification (PE, CPMP, PMP, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-value commercial design and construction projects for government facilities from planning to occupancy.
• Oversee all phases, including planning, design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Provide on-site project management, resolve field issues, and ensure quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with A/E firms, contractors, and customer agencies for timely delivery.
• Review design documents, submittals, progress evaluations, and invoices.
• Facilitate project meetings and maintain stakeholder communication.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
• Travel to project sites for inspections and evaluations as required.
