Job summary

Sistema Technologies is seeking a Business Analyst for a government project in Austin, Texas, on an 11-month hybrid assignment. The role focuses on eliciting and documenting requirements and guiding them through the software lifecycle.

The BA will work as a conduit between the program/customer community and the development team, managing the requirements baseline and validating fulfillment, including post-implementation enhancements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience eliciting requirements from customer interviews.
• 8+ years' experience with software development life cycles (SDLC).
• Experience mentoring peers and sharing best practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user needs, business processes, and system capabilities to improve or automate systems.
• Transform elicitation outcomes into business and functional requirements, use cases, and user stories.
• Maintain requirements baseline and ensure fulfillment of all requirements post-implementation.
• Collaborate with program/customer community and software development teams throughout the SDLC.
