Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in general and/or governmental accounting.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, governmental accounting, and related procedures.
• Ability to prepare reports and maintain records and files.
• Familiarity with accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger processes.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and enter payment information into financial systems.
• Process payroll/timesheets and verify hours in payroll system.
• Maintain filing systems and perform journal entries.
• Reconcile accounts payable, invoices, and purchase orders for accuracy.
