Job summary

In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies, improve internal controls, and contribute to accurate financial reporting for state and federal funds. A strong accounting background and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and GASB standards for governmental accounting.
• Ability to analyze complex financial transactions and reconcile accounts.
• Experience with financial reporting, controls, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex reconciliations of accounts, expenditures, revenues, and encumbrances.
• Apply GAAP and GASB standards to governmental fund accounting and reporting.
• Utilize the Advantage system to research transactions and support reporting.
• Develop and improve internal controls and financial processes.
• Collaborate with fiscal partners to resolve discrepancies and enable timely reimbursements.
• Support budgetary analysis, cash projections, and financial planning.
