State of Utah's Soldier Hollow Golf Course seeks an experienced Golf Course Superintendent II to lead agronomic and maintenance operations for a premier 36-hole facility in Midway, UT. The role requires supervising staff, ensuring safety, and delivering top playing conditions.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in turf management, knowledge of irrigation, pest control, budgeting, and equipment upkeep, with a commitment to excellence and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of golf course maintenance or turf management experience, supervisory role.
• Degree, certificate, or equivalent in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field.
• Knowledge of golf operations and exceptional customer service.
• Ability to hire and manage staff; experience with golf course irrigation.
• Familiarity with budgeting, inventory control, and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Direct agronomic and maintenance operations for Soldier Hollow’s 36-hole facility.
• Lead and develop the golf course maintenance team; manage staffing, scheduling, safety, and performance.
• Maintain exceptional playing conditions through turf, irrigation, fertility, pest, and resource management.
• Manage maintenance budgets, equipment, course projects, and environmentally responsible practices.
