Job summary

Glenwild Golf Club & Spa in Park City, Utah, seeks a full‑time Assistant Superintendent to lead daily course operations and support a major renovation project. You will work closely with the Superintendent and Agronomy Director, supervising staff and improving turf health, irrigation, and IPM programs.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in turf management, a related degree, and a Utah pesticide license (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• 3+ years golf course/turf management experience including pesticide application and irrigation maintenance
• Degree or certificate in agronomy, turf, or related field preferred
• Utah pesticide license (or ability to obtain within 150 days)
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train staff year‑round and seasonal teams
• Manage turf health, irrigation, and IPM programs
• Lead hands‑on activities: chemical/fertilizer applications, irrigation repairs, mowing, course setup
• Assist budgeting, planning, and renovation project oversight
• Maintain high standards of course conditioning and presentation
