Job summary

Canyon Creek Country Club in Richardson, TX seeks a Golf Course Superintendent to support the Director of Golf Course Maintenance and the 1st Assistant Superintendent in day-to-day operations.

You will develop turfgrass and plant maintenance programs, manage budgets, oversee personnel, irrigation scheduling, pesticide applications, and compliance with regulatory requirements; you will ensure the course meets the club's high standards.

Qualifications

• Associates and/or bachelor's degree in Turf Management or related field.
• Experience preparing and managing budgets for golf course and landscape maintenance departments.
• Technical knowledge of equipment, products, and resources related to golf course operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide agronomic oversight for healthy grasses, trees, wetlands, and plants.
• Supervise chemical applications and record-keeping per regulations.
• Oversee safe operation and maintenance of golf course equipment and budgeting for replacements.
• Maintain the course to high standards following guidelines.
• Control expenses and adhere to the budget.
• Collaborate with Head Golf Professional to balance rounds and maintenance.
• Communicate with members to exceed expectations.
• Train staff on OSHA, club safety, and guidelines.
• Provide ongoing technical, operational, and safety training for staff.
• Lead and participate in meetings on club operations and safety.
