Job summary

Kake is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its technology team. You will help build and evolve scalable, production-grade software across backend services, APIs, and cloud-based applications, taking ownership of architectural decisions and roadmap-driven delivery.

The role requires 5+ years of experience with Go and TypeScript, cloud experience, and strong systems thinking. You will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders in a remote, PST-friendly setup, with a focus on quality,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building production systems.
• Strong experience with Go and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services and cloud-based architectures.
• Strong experience with software architecture, system design, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Demonstrated ownership of complex technical initiatives and delivery.
• Strong technical judgment with risk and trade-off assessment.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating when needed.
• Experience with modern development, testing, deployment, and version-control practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication in distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable software solutions.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Go.
• Contribute to TypeScript-based applications and services.
• Build and operate cloud-based applications and services.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design.
