Specialized in California is seeking a Senior Fullstack Platform Go Engineer to design and maintain scalable backend services, event-driven systems, and shared platform capabilities.

As part of the Integration Platform team, you will work with Go, AWS, Docker, and PostgreSQL/MySQL, delivering reliable data exchange, robust APIs, and observable services while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with Golang, Java, or C++.
• Familiarity with evented systems.
• Strong REST API design knowledge.
• Strong web fundamentals.
• Experience with AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, ECS).
• Working knowledge of Docker.
• Strong data modeling and RDBMS experience.
• Excellent at describing technical designs to technical or business audiences.
• Self-motivated and collaborative.
• Comfortable writing and testing production code.
• Experience with observability pillars.

Responsibilities

• Design distributed systems built from iteratively-shipped components.
• Contribute to an event system enabling loose coupling across services.
• Build tools to aid frontline support staff.
• Maintain a product registration system.
• Enhance integrations with Point of Sale systems for omni-channel strategy.
• Manage a CI/CD pipeline to deliver robust changes frequently.
• Design best-fit technical solutions in collaboration with teammates.
• Identify root causes and propose innovative solutions.
