Job summary

Shipt, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer for Order Management in a hybrid role across multiple U.S. locations. You will design and build large-scale microservice systems powering core operations using Golang, Postgres, Redis, and Kafka.

You will mentor engineers, drive best practices, and ensure production-ready, secure, and scalable solutions while collaborating with product teams and business partners to maximize impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience building large, scalable micro-service applications in the cloud.
• Experience providing technical mentorship and code reviews with a focus on testability and good design patterns.
• Ability to troubleshoot deeply to resolve production issues across domains.

Responsibilities

• Design and build microservice-based order management systems in a cloud environment.
• Provide technical mentorship and code reviews to engineers on the team.
• Influence product direction and ensure production readiness, scalability, and security.
