Job summary

Shipt seeks a Senior Engineer for the Order Management team to design and build scalable systems powering core operations. You will do hands-on development for complex tasks, ensuring production-ready, high-performance solutions within a micro-services architecture using Go, Postgres, Redis, and Kafka.

You will mentor Engineers, maintain code quality, and influence the product roadmap while balancing reliability and feature delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience building large, scalable micro-service applications in the cloud.
• Experience providing technical mentorship and code reviews with focus on testability and design patterns.
• Ability to troubleshoot root causes and resolve production issues across team domains.
• Strong architecture design to minimize long-term costs and maximize resiliency.

Responsibilities
