Spectro Cloud, a leader in enterprise Kubernetes management with its Palette platform, seeks a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to own the resolution of complex, customer‑impacting production issues. This role sits at the intersection of Support, Product Engineering, and Customer Reliability, debugging Go microservices and Kubernetes components, delivering patches and backports on supported releases.

You will be a technical authority for high‑severity escalations and a partner to customers,

Formación

• 3+ years of hands-on software engineering in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes - operating, debugging, and modifying Kubernetes components.
• Strong ability to read, write, and ship production code, not only debug.
• Proven experience owning high-severity customer escalations end to end, including code-level fixes.
• Experience backporting fixes across multiple release branches with regression discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Own high-severity customer escalations end to end—from reproduction to fix, verification, and customer confirmation.
• Deliver production‑quality fixes in Go across Palette and Kubernetes‑native components; backport as needed.
• Build reproduction environments and expand test coverage to prevent regression of fixes.
• Identify and drive systemic gaps in observability, error handling, or upgrade paths and drive them to closure.
• Contribute to product feedback and long‑term hardening through documentation and knowledge sharing.
