Job summary

Spectro Cloud, a leader in enterprise Kubernetes management, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to own production‑impacting issues across Palette deployments. You will diagnose field escalations, craft durable fixes, and backport improvements for commercial and federal environments.

You will operate at the intersection of Support, Product Engineering, and Customer Reliability, debugging Go microservices and Kubernetes internals, delivering patches with rigorous quality and observability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on software engineering in production environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes in complex production environments.
• Shipping production code and code-level root cause fixes.

Responsibilities

• Own high‑severity escalations end to end from reproduction to fix and verification.
• Debug Kubernetes and distributed‑systems issues across control plane and workloads.
• Produce clear RCA documents for customers and stakeholders.
• Partner with Support, TAMs, and Customer Success to communicate status and unblock production issues.
• Deliver production‑quality fixes in Go across the Palette codebase and Kubernetes components.
• Backport fixes across multiple release branches with regression discipline.
• Drive hotfix, patch, and CVE releases with QA and Release Engineering.
