Job summary

Cosmo, the open-source GraphQL Federation project, is seeking a Senior/Staff Golang engineer to join our fully remote team. You will develop, refactor and maintain the GraphQL Router backend written in Go, and collaborate with product and success teams to shape its evolution.

We value performance, low garbage collection, security and deep technical ownership, with opportunities to travel occasionally and grow with us.

Qualifications

• Senior/Staff level of proven Golang development experience in a leading/ownership role.
• Experience with ASTs and transformations.
• Proven ability to write performant, low GC Go code.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refactor and maintain GraphQL Go Tools' Router open-source codebase in Golang.
• Work closely with engineering teammates on new Router capabilities (Open Federation, new data sources).
• Focus on performance, security and stability of the Router; review telemetry and run internal tests; troubleshoot issues with customers' engineers.
