Moov is a 100% remote company building fintech and payments platforms with a strong emphasis on reliability and observability. As part of Moov Engineering, you will design and expand production services using Go and microservices, mentor teams, and contribute to AI-assisted coding and tooling.

The role focuses on delivering scalable APIs, maintaining code quality, and partnering with product and leadership to plan for the future while embracing a remote-first culture and a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Self-guided building and planning of production systems.
• Past experience developing complex software in Go.
• Understanding & experience in microserviced architectures.
• Experience using AI tools for spec-driven development with clear context and rules.
• Past engineering experience in fintech/payments.

Responsibilities

• Develop next-generation financial products and services.
• Mentor other engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Design and build production services using Go and microservices.
• Create APIs and tooling to support products and services.
• Own full release lifecycle from development to release.
• Maintain documentation and observability across systems.
• Guide AI agents to produce high-quality, production-ready output.
