Job summary

Catapult Sports is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong Golang experience for our Boston-based engineering team. You will design, build and maintain production Go services as part of a growing backend platform that combines video, wearable data and athlete information to provide insights and analytics for coaches, athletes and staff.

You will own features across the development lifecycle, collaborate with distributed teams, and contribute to testing, deployment, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Golang experience
• Experience designing and operating production backend services
• Experience with cloud-based distributed systems
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (ECS, EC2, Lambda, SNS, SQS)
• Familiarity with CI/CD automation and modern delivery practices
• REST, GraphQL and/or gRPC experience

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable Go services in a cloud platform
• Contribute to architecture and technical direction of the backend
• Own services from planning through production and monitoring
• Solve complex problems across distributed systems and APIs
• Promote code quality, testing, and reliability across the stack
