Job summary

Catapult is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Boston to build scalable Go services for our cloud platform. You will own end-to-end development, from design through deployment, and work on distributed systems, APIs, and data infrastructure with AWS-based tooling.

The role emphasizes production-grade software, collaboration with a strong Boston team, and impact on elite sports performance technology. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Boston.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering scalable backend services.
• Proficient in Go with production-grade services.
• Experience with cloud-native distributed systems and AWS.
• Strong knowledge of REST, GraphQL or gRPC and data stores (Postgres, MongoDB).
• Experience with CI/CD automation and modern software delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable Go services for our cloud platform.
• Own services from planning through production, including testing and deployment.
• Contribute to architecture, technical direction and code quality across the team.
• Work across distributed systems, APIs, data and cloud infrastructure to solve problems.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver reliable, performant software.
