Job summary

Momento USA is hiring a senior Go backend developer to shape and scale high‑throughput microservices in production. You will own critical architectural decisions, mentor staff engineers, and drive reliability in distributed systems across multiple teams.

The role focuses on Go, Kubernetes, and cloud-native design, with emphasis on performance, testing, and robust API design in a remote U.S. environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building and scaling production backend systems, including 5+ years building Go (Golang) microservices in production.
• Deep expertise in Go (concurrency, profiling, testing, idiomatic design).
• Experience influencing technical strategy across multiple teams or an engineering org.

Responsibilities

• Own backend architecture decisions for a platform serving high concurrent traffic.
• Lead cross-team collaboration to define problems and roadmaps.
• Design REST and/or gRPC APIs with proper resilience and data consistency.
